ACPA Launches Care Coordination and 22q11.2 SIGs

ACPA is piloting two special interest groups (SIGs) in 2017, and all ACPA members are invited to participate.

The Care Coordination SIG will work to optimize the coordination of care for individuals with cleft and craniofacial conditions by enhancing educational and networking opportunities for nurses, team coordinators, and other ACPA members interested in care coordination.  The SIG is being chaired by Iris Sageser and co-chaired by Jo Artz.

The 22q11.2 Related Disorders SIG will optimize interdisciplinary care and quality of life of individuals with 22q11.2 related disorders by enhancing networking and educational opportunities for clinicians, researchers and other ACPA members interested in 22q11.2 related disorders. The SIG is being chaired by Adriane Baylis and co-chaired by Oksana Jackson.

Both SIGS are open to all ACPA members, regardless of discipline. All ACPA members are eligible to join one SIG. The SIGs will meet for the first time at ACPA's Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs, March 13-18, 2017. The meetings will take place during the Discipline and Special Interest Group Discussion Forums on March 15 at 3:00 PM.

If you would like to join one of the SIGs, please send us an email.
